About [UNVRS]
[UNVRS] is a music venue and superclub that opened in Ibiza in the summer of 2025. Located near the village of Sant Rafel de Sa Creu, the site was previously recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest nightclub in the world.
In August 2024, the team behind the iconic Ibiza venues Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza announced their acquisition of the former Privilege nightclub near San Rafael. Soon after, The Night League revealed plans to transform the location into [UNVRS], pronounced “Universe.” The project gained early attention when actor and musician Will Smith teased the club’s launch toward the end of 2024.
Although details about the venue were initially kept under wraps, the team shared elements of their vision, describing [UNVRS] as the world’s first true superclub. The concept combines luxury-level production with the scale of arena-style events, aiming to redefine nightlife through cutting-edge technology, immersive art installations, and performances from world-class artists. As anticipation grew, a viral video showing an apparent UFO sighting near Es Vedrà amassed over 52 million views. The footage was later revealed to be a drone-based promotional stunt by entrepreneur Yann Pissenem and Will Smith, created to announce the club’s 2025 opening.
The location has a long history in Ibiza’s nightlife scene, originally operating as Ku Club from 1979 to 1995 before becoming Privilege Ibiza from 1995 until 2019. Privilege closed during the COVID-19 pandemic and did not reopen.
