10 of the best for week 6 from my weekly Traxsource chart for HITA* and it’s a soulful feel good selection. Brand new vocal disco from Groove Armada with “Love’s Theme”. Smooth African soul from Ralf Gum featuring the dulcet tones of Thuso Wa Sibini with their ”Dream’s Alive”.
A funky uplifter from Mark Knight with ”My Tribute To House” on Fools Paradise which has been making some noise of late. A 90’s update by the Italian outfit Groove Culture with Da Lukas tinkering Love Tribes ”Stand Up”.
Purple music bringing us a spoken vocal reminding us HITA* people why we love ”House Music”. Risk Assessment are keeping the disco in full flight with ”Something New”.
We have a classic track from Chris Lum’s imprint with his track ”I Remember When”, close behind Daryl D’Bonneau & the late DJ Romain’s sultry deep vocal with ”It’s The Spirit”.
Not forgetting Baltimore’s very own DJ Spen’s re-rub of ”The Chi-Lites / My First Mistake” hits all the right buttons to burn up the dancefloor once again nearly 50yrs later!
Last but no means least with a mash-up of two legendary house tracks, Frankie Knuckles “Whistle Song” & The South Street Players track “Who Keep’s Changing Your Mind”, a very smooth blend and coming together from the dynamic duo Roland Clark & Eric Kupper – Check it out!
Let me now what you think of this weeks chart my fellow HITA*s
